As part of its plans to increase its charitable activities in San Antonio, the AMCB Foundation is working on ways to help survivors of human trafficking. As part of this effort, the AMCB Foundation is helping publicize events designed to raise awareness about human trafficking.
The AMCB Foundation participated at the November 4, 2019 event in San Antonio on a year-long Texas state wide media campaign entitled “CAN YOU SEE ME?” The media campaign was launched in Houston on October 1, 2019. The campaign is a partnership of Texas First Lady and the Governor’s Child Sex Trafficking Team with A21 and the Outdoor Advertising Association of Texas. The goals of this campaign are: 1) to help the public to recognize and report human trafficking; 2) let the survivors know that they are being seen, cared for, and help is available; 3) and also to let the exploiters know that they are also being seen and that justice is coming.
