On January 19, 2020, the AMCB Foundation collaborated with the Munshiganj district branch of Bangladesh Human Rights Development Commission, a Bangladesh charitable organization, to distribute blankets to the rural poor and needy people in Bangladesh. The distribution was conducted in Ichhapura village in the Munshiganj district in central Bangladesh. During this event, 900 blankets were distributed. The AMCB Foundation provided and distributed 100 of those blankets. This event marked the beginning of the AMCB Foundation’s regular distribution program in rural Bangladesh. Every month or every other month, the AMCB Foundation will distribute items, such as food, clothing, blankets and school supplies to different villagers and schools in need. Our next event is scheduled in February and more details with be coming soon. If you are interested in helping out, please donate. As part of this initiative to raise awareness, people were asked to share pictures of them wearing blue clothing on social media along with the hashtag "WearBlueDay."
